OEE Monitoring & Production Efficiency Systems
CANS connects the shop floor directly to production intelligence. We acquire machine states, counts, cycle data, downtime and quality information from PLCs, sensors, edge devices and operator inputs, then convert them into actionable OEE and production-performance information.
The objective is not another dashboard. It is a reliable data chain from the machine to the people responsible for improving output.

What We Measure and Improve
Availability — planned time, run time, stop time, breakdowns, setup and changeover. Performance — cycle time, speed loss, micro-stops, actual versus target output. Quality — good count, reject count, scrap and rework where data is available.
Beyond the OEE percentage, CANS can implement downtime reason capture, station-level production boards, target-versus-actual tracking, shift summaries, bottleneck analysis, trend analysis and notifications for sustained production loss.
Automatic Data Capture
PLC, digital I/O, counters, sensors, drives and protocol interfaces provide objective machine-state and production data.
Operational Context
Operator reason codes, work orders, product types, shifts and targets add the context needed to explain losses rather than merely count them.
Analytics & AI
Trend, anomaly and predictive analytics can be layered on reliable production data to surface recurring loss patterns and improvement opportunities.
Where CANS Adds Value
Software-only OEE products often begin after machine data already exists. CANS can engineer the complete path: field signals, PLC logic, industrial networking, edge acquisition, production calculations, dashboards and enterprise interfaces.
This is particularly useful for brownfield plants with mixed machines, legacy PLCs and incomplete production data.
Connected to MES and ERP
OEE becomes more useful when production context is exchanged with manufacturing systems. CANS can integrate OEE with MES, ERP, maintenance systems, quality records and cloud platforms where the project requires it.
